TickTalk makes it easier than ever to keep loved ones close with our Secure Messaging Center. We use end-to-end encryption to ensure your child’s conversations stay private. So how does it work?
All Messaging Takes Place Between Your TickTalk & Your TickTalk App
All communication takes place using our AWS-protected cloud server to offer your child the highest level of protection. With encrypted messaging, your conversations are converted into scrambled text with a unique verification code, allowing us to protect your child’s data, block unknown numbers from contacting your child, and ensuring that only approved contacts messages get through.
Add Up To 53 Trusted Contacts For Messaging
Anyone who wants to message with your TickTalk must download our free TickTalk app. You’ll receive a notification for anyone who requests to add your child and you’ll be able to set individual access levels for each contact. Your child can also message any friends who have TickTalks by adding them with our Radar Scanner.
Send Preloaded Text Responses, GIFs, Photos & Emojis
Your child can choose from 45+ preloaded text responses, GIFs, photos, and emojis to send. You can also add unlimited custom quick text responses in your TickTalk app for a more personalized experience. Simply select the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner and you can easily add custom text responses that suit your child’s lifestyle best. We don’t offer a keyboard option on our smartwatches due to the size of our screen, but we are working on including a voice-to-text option in the near future!
Send Voice Messages For Longer Messages
Have a longer message that requires more than a preset response? Your child can use our Voice Recording option to send a voice memo up to 60 seconds long.
Send Individual & Group Chats
Your child can choose between individual messages or group chats to stay connected to their favorite people. With no limit on how many contacts can be in a group message, create groups for Classmates, Teams, and even your entire family!
You can also watch our video for more information on approving other app users for Secure Messaging.
