Using Talk-To-Text for custom dictated messages

TickTalk gives your child the most personalized texting experience of any children's smartwatch phone! With Talk-To-Text, your child can send custom dictated text messages to express themselves outside of simple preset responses.

Where can I find Talk-To-Text for messaging? 

Open the Messaging icon on your TickTalk 4, select the button in the lower right-hand corner, and tap the microphone icon to begin recording your dictated message. Once you’ve finished recording, select the arrow icon in the upper right hand corner to send your text. 

Will I still be able to use other messaging options?

Yes! Talk-To-Text is an added messaging option to allow your child to create custom typed out responses directly from their TickTalk. Your child will also be able to choose from custom and preset quick text responses, voice recordings, GIFs, emojis, and more to stay connected with up to 53 trusted contacts.

How long of a message can Talk-To-Text dictate?

Talk-To-Text can dictate a message up to 10 seconds long. However, we're going to be listening closely to your feedback and may change the time allotment in the future.
