1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how TickTalk Tech LLC (“TickTalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with TickTalk Care+.
TickTalk Care+ is an optional, parent-managed device-protection subscription for eligible TickTalk smartwatches.
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to TickTalk Care+. Other TickTalk products and services may be subject to additional TickTalk privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
A. Parent and Account Information
We may collect or use:
- Parent or account-holder name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Billing address;
- Shipping address;
- TickTalk account identifier;
- Account authentication information;
- Communication preferences; and
- Customer-support communications.
B. Device and Eligibility Information
We may collect or use:
- Device model;
- Device color;
- IMEI;
- Serial number;
- Original retail purchase date;
- Order number;
- Proof of purchase;
- Authorized-retailer information;
- Device activation date;
- Device condition;
- Enrollment date;
- Eligibility status; and
- Associated parent or device profile identifier.
C. Subscription and Payment Information
We may collect or use:
- TickTalk Care+ subscription status;
- Billing-cycle information;
- Payment status;
- Transaction amount;
- Transaction date;
- Payment method type;
- Last four digits of the payment card;
- Payment token;
- Refund or chargeback information;
- Cancellation date; and
- Subscription expiration date.
Complete payment-card information may be collected and processed by TickTalk’s authorized payment providers. TickTalk generally does not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card-security codes.
D. Claim and Damage Information
When a claim is submitted, we may collect:
- Description of the incident;
- Date and circumstances of the damage;
- Damage category;
- Photographs;
- Videos;
- Device diagnostic information;
- Repair history;
- Claim history;
- Inspection results;
- Damage assessment;
- Coverage determination;
- Claim approval or denial;
- Service or replacement fees;
- Replacement-device information;
- Shipping and tracking information; and
- Communications relating to the claim.
E. Repair and Replacement Information
We may collect or use:
- Repair status;
- Replacement status;
- Returned-device information;
- Replacement model;
- Replacement IMEI or serial number;
- Device-transfer information;
- Shipping address;
- Shipping records;
- Tracking number;
- Delivery confirmation; and
- Inventory or fulfillment information.
F. Fraud, Security, and Compliance Information
We may collect or generate:
- Account-verification results;
- Device-verification results;
- Claim patterns;
- Duplicate-claim indicators;
- Payment-risk information;
- Suspected fraud or abuse indicators;
- Altered-device identifiers;
- Unauthorized repair or modification information;
- Security logs; and
- Information needed to comply with applicable law.
3. Children’s Information
TickTalk Care+ is purchased and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
Children are not asked to independently purchase the subscription, submit payment information, or manage claims.
Information associated with a child’s device may include:
- Child-profile name or nickname;
- Device identifier;
- Device model;
- Device condition;
- Diagnostic information; and
- Information concerning damage to or replacement of the child’s device.
We collect and use this information only as reasonably necessary to administer TickTalk Care+, confirm eligibility, evaluate claims, repair or replace devices, prevent fraud, and support the parent-managed account.
We do not use TickTalk Care+ claim or device information for third-party targeted advertising or the creation of advertising profiles for children.
We do not sell children’s personal information.
4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Enroll eligible devices in TickTalk Care+;
- Confirm device and purchase eligibility;
- Manage the subscription;
- Process recurring payments;
- Send billing and renewal notices;
- Process cancellations;
- Review device condition;
- Receive and evaluate claims;
- Communicate with account holders about claims;
- Inspect damaged devices;
- Repair or replace eligible devices;
- Transfer eligible coverage to an approved replacement;
- Ship and track repaired or replacement devices;
- Determine eligibility for optional loyalty benefits;
- Detect duplicate, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized claims;
- Protect TickTalk, customers, and service providers;
- Respond to customer-support requests;
- Improve claim and replacement procedures;
- Maintain transaction, warranty, and claim records;
- Enforce the TickTalk Care+ Terms of Use;
- Comply with accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements; and
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. How We Disclose Information
A. Service Providers
We may disclose information to service providers supporting:
- Payment processing;
- Subscription management;
- Device diagnostics;
- Repair services;
- Replacement fulfillment;
- Shipping and logistics;
- Cloud hosting;
- Data storage;
- Fraud prevention;
- Customer support;
- Email communications;
- Accounting;
- Auditing; and
- Professional services.
Service providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide authorized services or comply with applicable law.
B. Parents and Authorized Account Users
A parent, legal guardian, or authorized TickTalk account administrator may view or manage TickTalk Care+ information associated with the covered device.
This may include:
- Subscription status;
- Billing status;
- Covered-device information;
- Claim status;
- Repair or replacement status;
- Shipping information; and
- Available loyalty benefits.
C. Legal, Safety, and Fraud-Prevention Purposes
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law or legal process;
- Respond to lawful governmental requests;
- Prevent or investigate fraud or abuse;
- Enforce our agreements;
- Protect TickTalk, customers, children, or service providers;
- Resolve disputes; or
- Establish or defend legal claims.
D. Business Transactions
Information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
Any recipient of children’s personal information must handle that information in accordance with applicable law and continuing privacy obligations.
E. At Your Direction
We may disclose information when the parent or account holder directs us to do so or authorizes another party to receive the information.
6. No Sale or Targeted Advertising
We do not sell children’s personal information.
We do not share children’s personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
We do not use TickTalk Care+ claims, device damage, repair history, or replacement information to create third-party advertising profiles for children.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Maintain an active TickTalk Care+ subscription;
- Confirm device eligibility;
- Process and document claims;
- Complete repairs, replacements, and shipping;
- Maintain billing and transaction records;
- Administer optional loyalty benefits;
- Prevent fraud and abuse;
- Resolve disputes;
- Meet accounting, tax, warranty, and legal obligations;
- Enforce our agreements; and
- Protect account and service security.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, subscription status, claim history, legal requirements, and fraud-prevention needs.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary for an authorized purpose, we will delete it or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal, accounting, security, and record-retention requirements.
We do not retain children’s personal information indefinitely.
8. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include:
- Account authentication;
- Access controls;
- Encryption where appropriate;
- Employee and contractor access restrictions;
- Fraud-detection controls;
- Secure service-provider requirements;

- Incident-response procedures.
No internet-connected system, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Subject to applicable law, a parent or account holder may request to:

- Correct inaccurate information;
- Obtain a copy of eligible information;
- Delete eligible information;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Restrict or object to certain processing; or
- Exercise another applicable privacy right.
We may need to verify:
- Identity;
- Account ownership;
- Device ownership;
- Parent or guardian authority;
- Email address;
- Order information; or
- Other information necessary to protect the account.
Certain information may be retained when necessary to complete a claim, maintain transaction or warranty records, prevent fraud, comply with law, protect security, or resolve disputes.
Deleting information may affect the ability to maintain coverage, process a claim, or provide optional loyalty benefits.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:
- TickTalk Care+;
- Eligible devices;
- Subscription practices;
- Claim processes;
- Service providers;
- Legal requirements; or
- Business operations.
When changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain any required consent before a material change takes effect.
