Our mission is to give parents peace of mind—both by using our products and with our data collection practices. Which is why we partnered with an FTC-approved Safe Harbor Program to become a certified product under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). To receive this certification, both our smartwatches and our Parent App had to go through extensive testing to pinpoint any security weaknesses, potential blindspots for data breaches, and any events that would risk the privacy of our users.
All data collection on our devices, including GPS locating, goes through end-to-end encryption prior to being transmitted, with only you, the parent, holding the key to unlock it. Any contact who wishes to communicate with your child must request permission to pair with their watch and only contacts granted Full Access by the parent, which can be revoked at any time, will be able to use location tracking.
We’ve partnered with two of the world’s most trusted providers, Google Maps and Amazon AWS Cloud Server, for our locating services. We offer 24/7 security over our backend and only collect the information necessary for our products to work. We also provide 100% transparency into our data collection practices, which are clearly laid out in our Privacy Policy, and encourage families to review. If you have any questions, please contact our Support Team who is happy to address any concerns to give your family peace of mind.
