How long does the TickTalk 6 battery last?
TickTalk 6 has a 700 mAh battery with up to 135 hours of standby time.
With light everyday use, the battery can last around 48 hours. With heavier use that includes video calling, frequent GPS checks, messaging, and music, it can provide around 20 hours of use. Actual battery life varies based on signal strength, screen time, GPS use, calling, and other features.
Is TickTalk 6 waterproof?
TickTalk 6 is IP68 water resistant and has been tested to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes under controlled conditions.
Water resistance can decrease over time. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to hot water, salt water, chemically treated pool water, and high-pressure water.
Can TickTalk 6 be used while traveling internationally?
Eligible U.S. customers can purchase a TickTalk Wireless Global Travel Plan for supported service in 160+ countries and regions.
Because TickTalk 6 has a built-in eSIM, families do not need to replace the SIM card when activating an eligible travel plan. Coverage and available features vary by country, network, and travel plan.
What is TickTalkie™?
TickTalkie™ is watch-to-watch push-to-talk communication over LTE or Wi-Fi. Kids can communicate one-to-one or in groups with approved TickTalk Watch Friends, even when they are farther apart than traditional walkie-talkies allow.
Parents remain in control of approved watch contacts.

We bought this watch for our daughter for her 10th birthday. It is incredible! She gets to text and call anyone we allow her to, there are no games to distract her, and the GPS tracker is phenomenal. This watch has given us such a peace of mind.
So far so good! My daughter loves her watch. The only slight issue is the pictures are very grainy and low quality but I didn't expect them to be like a phone camera quality! Overall I am happy with the watch and service!
Upgrading to the TickTalk 6 has been a total game-changer for our child! The bundled protective bumper completely removes the stress of outdoor play by shielding the device from any scuffs or scratches. On top of that, the upgraded strap material is remarkably soft and durable. Communication is incredibly simple because the watch uses standard SMS text messaging and regular cell phone calling, making it easy for parents and family members to stay in touch. It also fully supports group SMS messages for seamless family chats. The live GPS tracking feature is incredibly useful, giving us complete peace of mind when our child walks home from school (I'll make sure to remember how valuable that peace of mind is for our future chats!). Other essential features like video chat and the parental management app run flawlessly as well. We couldn't recommend it more!

My son is 7 years old and enjoys the watch. It allows him more freedom because I can see where he is at, text him, call him (with or without video) and drop in to listen if need be. It makes me feel safer too. I had issues with the GPS where it showed my son 3 blocks away from where he actually was. So I called the Support and they updated something for me and it's been accurate. The watch is perfect for elementary kid. No social media apps, nice parents portal, cute design, easy to use.

We had the TickTalk 5 for over a year, and the TickTalk 6 is a wonderful upgrade with much more comfortable band, brighter and clearer screen. My 8yo even wore it to sleep overnight bc it was so comfortable she “forgot” to take it off before bed. So far everything is working well. We live in more rural area and can tell there’s a boost in the cell signal as well. We had tried other brands but TickTalk has been the most user-friendly and easiest to navigate. It just works!

It's still new but the quality of video is substantial from the 5. My only criticism is that the charger base is hard to make 'stick' with the case on. Took that off and no issues!

We are very happy with the TickTalk 6! The battery easily makes it through a long day of use, the design is sleeker, the band sturdier and easier to put on and take off. The speakers feel louder and clearer than prior models and my son loves his new watch. We upgraded from a TickTalk 5 to this TickTalk 6 and we were floored with how easy it was to port the phone number from the old one to the new one. His new TickTalk 6 was up and fully functional within 10 minutes. The new band is way more comfortable and faster to put on/take off. Locating him seems about as accurate as the previous model, which is pretty accurate and we have no complaints. We are able to set do not disturb time during school which helps him not get in trouble with it. He's really enjoyed being able to be in contact with his family and friends but we have the peace of mind that he doesn't have access to the Internet. Battery life is much better on the TickTalk 6 than the 5, so that's awesome. Overall we're so glad for the upgrades and find that this watch serves our family's communication needs excellently.

I love this watch for my daughter. It gives her a sense of independence without giving her too much access. I can control and see everything and I love that. The watch bands could use an upgrade. My daughter has a very small wrist and the regular is barely big enough for her. It's easy for her to use. Adding app users could be improved as sometimes I would get a failed message. I would close the app and try again and it would work. Over all. We love it.

I bought this watch for my 9 year old daughter as I was not ready to let her have a phone yet.I am able to know where she is and she can contact me whenever she needs to ...that gives me peace of mind.It has good call/sound clarity. GPS is 96-97% accurate most of the time. My daughter loves the sleek design, the touchscreen is responsive and she said that the band is comfortable and easy to wear.

I tried the size 5 last year and wasn’t too happy with the waistband—it kept wearing out, so I had to keep buying replacements. But I absolutely love the size 6, and my kid does too! No more waistband issues, and the Remote Answer feature is super helpful for safety. It’s such a GREAT design! You won’t regret buying it!

I got a second for my daughter and she's called everyone on her contacts every day! Had 1 connectivity issue and location has bounced her 10 states away a few times but once I hit locate again it fixes it.

This has been a great upgrade from our Gizmo watch. Love the app and the overall feel of the watch. Location isn't exact but it's good. This has given us the ability to let our child have a little more freedom while also giving us peace of mind. Would recommend

I love that this watch can send texts to our phones instead of through an app like so many. We love that it can receive silly GIFS, Face calls, has many parental settings, etc. the downsides is that the battery life isn't as good as I would have hoped. The end of the wristband also broke off within a couple days but they are replacing it, which is nice but still makes me a little nervous about it happening to the next band. We also LOVE the GPS feature for when my daughter is on the bus or at a friend's house.

My Kids Love Their TickTalk 6 Watches! We bought two TickTalk 6 watches for our 10-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son, and they were both so excited! I love being able to stay connected with them without giving them smartphones. There are a few things I would improve, such as adding a keyboard for texting, more clock display colors, and better call connectivity. I also wish we could choose the band sizes and colors when purchasing. Overall, the watches are a great idea for kids, and I hope future updates make them even better!

I am coparenting my 7yo autistic son across a 10hour distance. Mobile phones and extended screen time at this age are not things we want to use. With TICKTALK, not only can my son contact both his parents when he wants comfort, but we each are able to share messages and photos. Great Watches for Kids, but Definitely Room for Improvement We recently purchased two TickTalk 6 watches, one for my 10-year-old daughter and another for my 13-year-old autistic son. Both of my kids absolutely loved their new watches, and they were so excited to start using them! However, there are a few things I wish TickTalk would improve. First, I wish customers could choose the band color and size when ordering. Every child has a different wrist size and preference, and having to spend an additional $19.99 on a replacement band after already purchasing the watches is frustrating. Second, I wish the eSIM connectivity were more reliable. When I tried making test calls to my son’s watch, the calls wouldn’t go through when the screen was off, but they worked when the screen was on. I spent almost an entire day trying to figure out what was causing the issue. I believe I finally got it working, but it shouldn’t be that complicated, especially for a device parents purchase to stay connected with their children. I also wish there were more customization options for the clock display, such as changing the colors of the clock and time. Another disappointment is the voice-to-text feature. In my experience, it doesn’t work very well. I would much rather have an actual keyboard so my children could type their own messages instead of relying on voice-to-text. This would be especially helpful for my son. Overall, my children really love their watches, and I think TickTalk has a great concept. However, for the price of the watches and the monthly service plans, I expected better connectivity, more customization, and easier messaging options. I hope TickTalk takes feedback from parents seriously and considers making these improvements in future updates. These watches are meant to give parents peace of mind, and reliable communication should be the number one priority.

My kid loves the ticktalk watch! It’s still learning accurate locations but improving everyday! The calling and texting feature is great for keeping in touch and he loves the radio feature! Overall we are happy with our purchase and would recommend to parents who aren’t ready for their kid to have a full smart phone yet.
Had it a few days now. Good points- not too big, good for texting and calling, love the amount of features I control. Things to consider- I would like to see ALL texts in my app sent to my son by people in the watch, not just blocked numbers. I want his friends to have a way to get a hold of him, but I want to see what is being said. In the DND mode, if you hit a button accidentally a second time then it says it is in DND mode until it is no longer in DND mode and no longer works as a watch. And the thing I don’t care about is the fact that it doesn’t even remotely track steps accurately. My kid took 65,732 steps in one day? No. Lol. Today is a low day at only 40,834… Overall, would still purchase the watch. It just has a few kinks.
