No. TickTalk 6 is built for communication, safety, and growing independence—not unrestricted screen time. Kids cannot access games, social media, an app store, or the open internet.

Yes. Cellular calling, messaging, GPS, and other connected features require an active TickTalk Wireless plan. U.S. plans start at $9.99/month with no contracts or activation fees. Eligible U.S. customers can also purchase Global Travel Plans separately for use in 160+ countries and regions.

TickTalk 6 also replaces the physical SIM with a built-in eSIM, helping create a more streamlined design while making wireless activation and Global Travel Plans easier—no SIM swapping required when traveling.

How long does the TickTalk 6 battery last?
TickTalk 6 features a 700 mAh battery with up to 135 hours of standby time.
With light everyday use—such as sending around 10–20 messages, checking location 3–5 times, listening to music for about 30 minutes, and making around 10 minutes of calls per day—the battery can last around 48 hours.
With heavier use—such as about 10 minutes of video calling, 10–20 location checks, around 50 messages, and about 2 hours of music per day—the battery can still provide around 20 hours of use.
Actual battery life varies based on cellular signal strength, screen use, calling, GPS tracking, TickTalk Radio™, and other features.
Is TickTalk 6 waterproof?
TickTalk 6 is IP68 water resistant, tested to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes.
For best performance, we still recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to hot water, salt water, or chemically treated pool water.
What is TickTalkie™?
TickTalkie™ is LTE and Wi-Fi walkie-talkie communication for approved TickTalk Watch Friends. Kids can stay connected one-to-one or in groups across longer distances than traditional walkie-talkies—while parents remain in control of approved contacts.
