Most cell phone providers have officially laid to rest their 2G networks with T-Mobile being the only one to extend its’ phase-out of this service until the year 2020. For some of our interested potential customers this poses a serious issue since our latest version the TickTalk 2 only runs on a 2G network.
Most of the 52 states in the United States still have 2G coverage, with some areas being the exception. Please check your coverage area. Link below:
However, Nebraska, Iowa, and Wyoming do not have any coverage at this time. If you live in those states and are still interested in our TickTalk smart watch for kids, we can put you on our pre-order list for the 4G version coming out this fall 2018. We will promptly email all of our interested customers as soon as we fill up our warehouse with the TickTalk 3.0 with the 4G service.
We do our best to help our customers solve any issues that they have with their TickTalk. We have a helpful support team standing by Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM PST to answer any of your questions. Call us at (714) 578-6719 or email support@myticktalk.com.
