We're Excited To Announce Our New SMS Feature!

We’re excited to announce a new major update! 

TickTalk 5 now supports SMS messaging! Families can now stay connected more easily than ever through text messaging directly from phone to watch!

With our new SMS feature, TickTalk users can enjoy:

• Two-way text messaging between TickTalk 5 and smartphones
• Voice memos for instant personal messages to family
• Emojis and GIFs to make conversations more fun and expressive

This feature brings families closer together by allowing grandparents and trusted friends & family to communicate with the TickTalk 5 user directly through their phone!

While an app is no longer needed to send or receive messages from the watch, parents still use the app to manage their child’s experience. The TickTalk app gives parents peace of mind with 50+ parental controls. In addition to the convenience of SMS messaging, families will still be able to use in-app messaging if preferred, or use the TickTalk app for group chats. 

Safety First:
To ensure your child’s privacy and safety, parents must approve all trusted contacts within the TickTalk App before anyone can send or receive SMS messages with the watch. This ensures that only verified family members and friends can connect with your child.

Whether it’s a quick “I love you” voice note or a cheerful GIF from Grandma, our new SMS feature helps families easily stay safely connected!

Important Note on Message Monitoring:
Please note that TickTalk does not have the ability to filter, censor, or monitor SMS message content. Because of this, we strongly recommend that parents regularly monitor their child’s conversations and ensure that all interactions remain safe, appropriate, and positive.
